Hello

Hey guys!

My name is Caroline (you can call me Cara) and I'm from the wonderful city of Santa Barbara! I am very blessed to have lived here my whole life. It is a beautiful city sitting right in between the ocean and the mountains. I chose to come to UCSB because I LOVE volleyball and I am playing for the volleyball team here. Volleyball is my passion and I especially love playing beach volleyball with friends. I'm very lucky that I get to stay in the San Nic dorms because a sand volleyball court is only 10 feet away. The new friends I've made are awesome and it is so much fun to live with all of them.

I am a feminist and will be majoring in Feminist Studies. I am an advocate of women's rights and I believe that women are intellectually and socially equal to men. Someday, I plan to travel to Afghanistan (with big, beautiful security guards) and be a civil rights leader, or diplomat, for Afghani women. UCSB has a great Feminist Studies program, but I've heard from "around" that a class actually teaches ANTI evolution. Unbelievable. Hopefully, I can avoid this class.

UCSB has been amazing so far and I am looking forward to spending the next four years here :)
